Artist Statement
MoAmim Ghorbani (b. 2003, Iran) is a painting student who is mainly working with oil paint and mixed media.
His works explore silence, isolation, and psychological residues of everyday experiences in contemporary life.
In the Studio

I am interested in the emotional and psychological layers that are often ignored or suppressed in daily routines.
In a modern environment that increasingly resembles a concrete wall, I focus on what remains unseen: vulnerability, hesitation, and silence.
Through painting, I attempt to create a space where these internal states can surface.
My process is intuitive and performative, often shaped through close interaction with my subjects. I approach each figure as a unique psychological landscape, allowing traces of emotion to emerge through material, gesture, and surface.
