Artist Statement

My artistic practice explores transformation as a fundamental condition of human experience. I am interested in moments when stable identities begin to shift, when boundaries between bodies, objects, memories, and dreams become uncertain, and when familiar forms evolve into something unexpected.

Through painting and sculpture, I create hybrid worlds where human figures merge with animals, objects acquire bodily presence, and fragments of memory take material form. Rather than illustrating narratives, I work through an intuitive process of layering, erasure, reconstruction, and discovery. Images emerge gradually, revealing relationships that often exist beyond conscious reasoning.

My work is rooted in an interest in emotional experiences that resist direct language: vulnerability, attachment, loss, anxiety, resilience, and the persistence of memory. I am particularly drawn to the ways these experiences reappear through dreams, bodily sensations, symbolic images, and visual associations.

In recent years, my practice has increasingly focused on memory as a living and transformative force. Rather than understanding memory as a fixed archive of the past, I approach it as an active process of continual rewriting. This interest has led me to explore how personal experiences survive within the imagination, how unresolved emotions inhabit dream imagery, and how inner experiences become visible through material forms.
