Arezoo Jabbari
Artist Statement
My artistic practice is an ongoing journey of self-exploration, introspection, and emotional transformation. Through painting, I explore the unconscious mind, the complexity of human emotions, and the fragile boundaries between identity, vulnerability, and existence.
My works often feature distorted and expressive faces, serving as reflections of inner struggles, suppressed emotions, and the invisible experiences that shape our identities. Through abstraction and expressive forms, I seek to reveal what lies beneath the surface of the human condition.
For me, painting is both an act of surrender and a form of self-therapy—a space where the unspoken can emerge and the unconscious can find its own language. Rather than offering definitive answers, my work invites viewers to confront their own inner worlds and discover their personal meanings within the images.
I believe that art has the power to transform pain into awareness and silence into expression.
